Overview
The enterprise is the largest in Ukraine and one of the largest non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises in Europe.
The main activity is the production of alumina (aluminum oxide) from imported bauxite using Bayer technology.
The plant was built in 1980. Along with the main production, the enterprise has its own CHP, a port terminal on the Bug estuary, railway and road infrastructure, a sludge storage facility and auxiliary workshops.
The production facilities of LLC "MGZ" are based on specific equipment with a critically low level of energy consumption. The uniqueness of the technical base is absolute - similar equipment is absent on the market and has no serial analogues in the world, which makes the technological process of the enterprise unique.
